Connect iCloud Mail
Connect your iCloud Mail mailbox with an app password over IMAP and SMTP. Mailera tests the login before saving, so you know right away whether the mailbox works.
Connection steps
Mailera also shows these instructions next to the input field when you add a iCloud Mail mailbox.
- Enable two-factor authentication for your Apple Account.
- Open account.apple.com → Sign-In and Security → App-Specific Passwords.
- Click Generate, enter “Mailera” as the name, then paste the password in xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx format into the field beside this guide.
What you need
- Enable 2-step verification
Note Changing your Apple Account password revokes all app-specific passwords — you will need to generate a new one and update it in Mailera.
