01Accepting these terms
These terms apply when you use Mailera's website, app, API, and shared pages (mailera.app). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Acceptable Use Policy.
If you use Mailera for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to agree on its behalf.
02The service
Mailera helps you connect and manage Microsoft mailboxes (Outlook, Hotmail, Microsoft 365) in one workspace: sync messages, sort them into Inbox and Junk Email, send messages, manage permissions, and share through links and the REST API.
Self-registered workspaces are currently free, with a limit of 1,000 mailboxes per workspace.
If we introduce paid plans, we will notify you in advance and will not charge you automatically. Features may be added, changed, or discontinued; if a change removes a feature you use, we will give advance notice where possible.
03Account and workspace
- Provide accurate information and keep your sign-in email address active.
- Keep your password, API keys, shared links, and shared link passwords secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- Admin and Leader roles manage workspace members, mailboxes, and settings, and are responsible for granting permissions within the workspace.
- You are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to agree to these terms.
- Notify us immediately through the Contact page if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
04Mailboxes you connect
- Only connect mailboxes you own or have the owner's explicit permission to use.
- Comply with Microsoft's terms for that account (the Microsoft Services Agreement or your organization's Microsoft 365 terms).
- Microsoft may restrict, block, or lock accounts under its policies; Mailera does not control this and will display the status when detected.
- You are responsible for messages sent from your mailboxes through Mailera, including messages sent through the API or shared links you create.
05Your data
Messages and data you bring into Mailera remain yours or your organization's. You authorize Mailera to store and process that data only as needed to provide, protect, and support the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
06Acceptable use
You must not use Mailera to send spam, commit fraud, access mailboxes without authorization, or damage systems. See the Acceptable Use Policy for the full list.
07API, webhooks, and shared links
- API keys are secret; each key has a permission scope and a limit of 300 requests per minute.
- Do not attempt to bypass limits, for example by using multiple keys or workspaces.
- We keep the API stable and provide advance notice of breaking changes where possible.
- Shared link creators are responsible for choosing recipients, expiry, and permissions; links and passwords should be sent through separate channels. An Admin or Leader can disable sharing for the entire workspace.
08Availability
We strive to keep Mailera running reliably but do not guarantee specific uptime. The speed of receiving new messages depends on Microsoft. The service may be temporarily interrupted for maintenance or due to infrastructure provider incidents.
09Suspension and termination
You can stop using the service at any time: delete mailboxes in the app and request account deletion through the Contact page.
We may temporarily suspend mailboxes, API keys, shared links, or workspaces for violations of these terms, security risks, or legal requirements; where appropriate, we will give advance notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
10Disclaimer of warranties
Mailera is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that the service will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every particular purpose.
11Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Mailera is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, data loss, or business interruption arising from using or being unable to use the service, including when Microsoft restricts or locks an account. This limitation does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.
12Your responsibility
You are responsible for third-party claims arising from your violation of these terms, violation of the law, or use of mailboxes without authorization.
13Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will show the revision date at the top of the page. For significant changes, we will provide reasonable advance notice. Continuing to use the service after the effective date means you agree to the new terms.
14Governing law
These terms are governed by Vietnamese law. Both parties will prioritize resolving disputes through negotiation before referring them to a competent authority.
