How we write

Mailera's blog and guides are written for mailbox operators and developers building agents. Here's how we create, check, and keep articles accurate.

Choosing topics

We cover real questions: what users ask, common mailbox connection errors, and how to work with the API, webhook, and MCP. Each article answers one main question, right at the start.

Facts and sources

Provider details — servers, sending limits, and how to create app passwords — are checked against official documentation, with source links in the article. Mailera's figures come from actual system settings, not estimates.

Testing before publishing

Commands and code snippets are run in a Mailera test workspace before publication. UI images are screenshots of the actual product, with email addresses hidden.

How we use AI

We use AI tools to help with research, drafting, translation, and proofreading. An article isn't published just because the writing is done: facts are checked, code is run, and the article must pass review and automated checks for links, sources, and images. Illustrations may be AI-generated; UI images are always real screenshots.

Written for each language

Japanese, Thai, and French versions are written for readers of those languages — folder names, buttons, and examples match how the product appears in each language — rather than machine-translated sentence by sentence.

Publication and update dates

The publication date is when an article first goes live. The update date changes only when the content actually changes; republishing an unchanged article leaves the date intact. When providers change their procedures, we update the relevant articles.

Mailera does not accept payment for placing links or writing articles. External links point to official sources or documentation useful to readers.

Who's responsible

The Mailera team is responsible for every article's content. Each article names its author and, where applicable, its reviewer.
