Connect GMX

Connect your GMX mailbox with an app password over IMAP and SMTP. Mailera tests the login before saving, so you know right away whether the mailbox works.

Connection steps

Mailera also shows these instructions next to the input field when you add a GMX mailbox.

  1. In GMX: Email Settings → POP3 & IMAP → enable access via POP3 and IMAP, then save.
  2. If 2-step verification is enabled: create an app password under Security. Otherwise, use your GMX password.
  3. Enter the password in the field beside this guide.

What you need

  • Enable IMAP in settings
  • Account password can be used

Note GMX may send a confirmation email when a new app signs in for the first time.
